We all have regrets don’t we. When I first visited this spot back in the summer of 2016 I was questioning Hubby’s assertions that this really was a Lighthouse! It seemed more like a scenic lookout to me … with coachloads of visitors posing for photos between the pillars. But despite it always being quite windy, it quickly became a favourite place that I love to return to each year! And enjoy that cooling breeze blowing in from the water … and to pause for a few moments and relax and take in the view before … having to step aside and let the next visitors take pictures of their own! I first created my Exposé Vŭ pages back in 2017 because, as I mentioned then standing on my Special Stairs, there are just so many places on my favourite holiday island that I enjoy re-visiting again and again. Maybe for a morning coffee, an afternoon wine … or evening cocktail. And this lovely, peaceful Waterwheel is one of those places.
