I have been doing this blogging gig for over ten years. Probably closer to fifteen. Over the time, I have completed my teaching qualifications, taught thousands of young people and written probably millions of words. There have been times, like this week, when I have posted almost every day for short stints, followed by longer stints of not posting or writing much at all. As I step back from full-time work, I have allocated myself the project of reviewing many of these words and collating them into something that will hopefully at least buy me some wine to enjoy during my camping adventures. I don’t consider myself a nudist or a naturist. Since our children have grown and we have spent a lot of time on the ocean I have however come to the realisation that being outdoors and wearing a lot of clothes is really not that comfortable. It is one of the things I miss the most about not owning a yacht. Most yachties are very relaxed about clothing. Land based campers not so much. There are a lot more families. So a weekend of not having to wear clothes and having the time / brain space to catch up on some writing was definitely welcome.
