After much thought, I have decided to shut down this blog.  I will keep my Twitter account up and running and will continue to read and follow my favorite blogs on here. I will also keep my thechastecyclist@yahoo.com email address to carry on those friendships and conversations.  I just will not be keeping this blog active.

No, nothing has happened or changed between MrsL and me.  Yes, we are still living a Devotional Sex / part time enforced chastity lifestyle.  We just spent an awesome weekend together complete with going out drinking/dancing locked in her Steelheart.

The primary reason I am shutting this down is I have decided to pursue a life long goal of becoming a published author of fantasy fiction.  I have dabbled with a few different ideas/manuscripts over the years:  a huge multi book epic saga (a la The Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan or The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant by Stephen R. Donaldson, etc), a book geared toward young readers (which is when I fell in love with the genre), a stand alone novel (like the most recent release Warrior of the Altaii by Robert Jordan or Elantris by Brandon Sanderson), and so on.

I have notebooks/folders full of notes.  I have yellowed and tattered paper copies of different chapters written over the years.  I have several dozen different outlines. So, I want to focus on those in my spare time and test the waters.  I feel like I need all of my writing energy focused on that goal. With all of the self publishing websites out there maybe I can put out a few chapters to see if my writing is worth buying then go from there.

So, I’ll leave this up through the weekend then it will come down.  Thanks to all of my followers!  Thanks to all of the people who visited and read my posts, yes even the trolls.  I wish all of you the best!
