It was extremely busy at the Lighthouse this summer … much, much busier than in previous years we’ve visited*.

Including one gentleman who sat on the steps behind me reading his book, for the whole duration of our visit ….

… despite the arrival, shortly after us, of a mini-bus full of noisy kayak enthusiasts who were obviously setting-up for a days paddling.

But our summer vacation just wouldn’t be complete without at least a few pictures of one of our favourite views.
