I chose the Lelo Couples Gift Box …

As you would expect, the package arrived discretely packaged in a plain, strong cardboard, outer delivery box. But, as I hope my photographs will show, the Tantalize Me box itself is anything but plain.

It is beautifully constructed from strong, matt-laminated, heavy black cardboard with the Tantalize Me tastefully printed logo on the top of the hinged lid. This is delightfully secured with a fabric ribbon, tied teasingly … and tantalizingly … in a lovely bow at the front. The ribbon slides through a slot in the narrow folded-down lip of the lid which corresponds with a same-sized slot in the front of the box.

Upon undoing the bow and lifting the lid, one is presented with a black tissue-paper wrapping sealed with a tiny gold heart in the middle. Everything about the presentation exudes quality and care, a feeling perfectly mirrored in the contents of the box as well.

I will possibly review the Lelo toys in the future as this post is about the concept of Tantalize Me’s Subscription Box range, rather than the specific contents. But I simply have to mention the luxurious, soft-covered, book by Taschen that was also included in the box.

It’s 200 pages are filled with gorgeous soft-focussed, sepia toned, wonderfully erotic photographs and intriguing interviews with many of photographers models on their personal desires and fantasies that accompany their self-playtime moments. It came as a complete surprise to me, and something that I would never have known about had it not been included in my Gift Box.

And that is for me what is one of the most appealing and interesting aspects of Tantalize Me’s boxes. That element of surprise and intrigue, that sense of something different and new. All packaged and presented with superb quality and attention to detail.
