You will possibly already know how much I enjoy trying out new insertables from time-to-time. And the lovely people from Bestvibe recently sent me their 8 Mode Vibrating Dildo, with Thrusting & Heating Functions, Remote Control version, to test and review.

As you can see from my photos below, the dildo has been designed to give the “look” of a perfect erection with it’s pouting head, straining veins and full testicles, although in my experience (and I do have quite a lot, lol!!!), no two erections ever look the same, and none exactly like this. But in the spirit of “realistic”, then it is an acceptable attempt.

For me though, it was the described thrusting and twisting motion of this dildo that had me intrigued, rather than the look or shape.

So … the dildo arrived in a sturdy, matt finished, cardboard box and is supplied with USB Cables for charging, the small egg-shaped plastic remote controller (supplied with batteries), a (very) small operating instructions leaflet, and the dildo itself in a matt plastic, zip-lock holding bag.

It is made of a body-safe, non-toxic, silicone material, but is of the soft, slightly sticky-to-the-feel type of material rather than the firmer, smoother more “matt” feel I am more used to. However it is certainly “firm enough” for it’s intended purpose.

It has an insertable length of 6½ inches from the tip of the head to where the shaft meets it’s balls. These add another 1½ inches to their flat-base before the suction-cup which allows the dildo to be suction-stuck to a flat-surfaced table, chair or wall. The diameter of it’s reddy-glans tip at it’s widest point is 1½ inches in diameter tapering down to 1¾ inches diameter at the base of the shaft.

The dildo is completely water-proof so could also be used for some stick-on fun inside one’s shower attached to the tiles or glass panels. (I haven’t showered with it just yet, but will have an “in-action” video-clip of it stuck on top of my bedroom cabinet for my Pour Me A Glass Members soon).

But of course it also easily fits inside my Strap-On harness so I am eagerly looking forward to trying out the thrusting and twisting with one of my submissive gentlemen as soon as the opportunity arises.

When I first turned it on and just held it in my hand, I found that thrusting and twisting just made me giggle initially, but once inserted, and one has become familiar with selecting the best vibration pattern on the remote controller, those motions become quite interesting and quite powerful as well. The actual on/off button is a very subtle indentation recessed in the flat base of the dildo’s balls, but you will know when you have found it, as the toy jerks and throbs immediately (and glows a luminous red). The 8 different modes are then selected and changed with the small, but easily operated, buttons on the remote controller.

I’m not a fan of constantly changing the vibrating and twisting patterns … I know the one that works for me and so click straight to that setting. But there is certainly a variety of strengths, and speeds, of twists and thrusts to choose from and I’m sure you will quite easily find one (or more) that suits you.

For me the “heating” function is a novelty that has little interest and apart from my initial play session, I haven’t bothered with it since. But I realise that some may find it adds another sensation to their playtime.

Now, as I’ve mentioned on numerous occasions before, I’m a clittoral-lady and never generally orgasm from internal thrusting and pumping … whether from dildo-play or from the real thing … and the Bestvibe 8 Mode Dildo hasn’t changed that. But I do find it an arousing and fun playtime accessory which, in conjunction with one of my clit-vibes or wands, has certainly given me some wonderful fun over the past few weeks.

So whether clit, or vaginal-stimulation is your thing, I would highly recommend you sit-down on this fun toy for some wonderful lift-off play of your own.
